Inquiry Simulator

I really enjoyed reading this material. Seeing that the issues aren't as clear cut as one might think and thinking about why people might look at the topic from different angles really has helped me understand what is going on. I felt that I had a good understanding of things and the only challenge I faced was limiting my essay to the prescribed word count. That was one of my better papers!

This is not a bad outcome. There is evidence of some deeper thinking in that multiple perspectives are researched. There is a chance that the argument against the teacher's stance is simply parroted from the resources used in the research but this takes more thought on the student's behalf than simply paraphrasing the popular opinion. Chances are probably pretty high that the type of student who would take this approach is more of a natural skeptic and might be critical of both perspectives and be thinking through the issues at a deeper level anyway.

That was fun! Let's go back to the beginning.
