This is becoming a struggle. What you're learning about your topic doesn't really seem to work well in your chosen presentation style. Something has to give. You know that you can make a very cool project that your classmates will be in awe of, but you don't see how it relates to your research. You could give up on your ideas for the project and find another way to tell the story. What do you?

The project is so cool that I'm going to make the topic work, no matter what. I've bought material and already bragged about this epic thing that I'm going to make. I can't back out now. Time to ram the topic into this regardless!

Whoa! Let's take a step back here. I'm supposed to be researching this particular topic. Even though I've tried to match a take on this topic with this particular thing that I want to make, it just doesn't work. If I'm going to be able to do this well, whatever I make HAS to be the best way to communicate what I have to say about my topic. I'm going to have to change what I make to fit the topic better.
