Yeah! The tutor effectively wrote the paper for me. I mean, we talked about it and all, but they took the notes, wrote the outline and most of the actual body of the paper. This should get me a good mark.

Man! That tutor is tough. I had to do EVERYTHING. I guess it was cool that she helped me through it and she gave me some good advice on how to put my essay together, but I guess I was hoping that she would do more to actually write the essay.

Jury's out on this scenario, to be honest. There are some tutors that are extremely good at supporting the school, the teacher and the learning and help students by giving them more individual time than a classroom teacher is often able to give. Some tutors, however, feel that they're employed by the student to make their life as easy as possible. In these cases, learning pretty much goes out the window.
