You know exactly how you're going to make your project. Now it's time to figure out what story you are going to tell. You buckle down and start your research. What questions do you need to ask? Where are you going to find the answers? How do you connect to this topic? How can I get my audience to care about my research? You spend some time focusing your research question and then gathering the information that you need to answer it.

This is where the rubber meets the road, as it were. If the research goes well and there truly is a good match between the topic of inquiry and the project, magic can happen. If the match isn't as good, then decisions have to be made. The end result could still be potentially good, or it could an epic disaster...
